Sometimes you just want something chocolate. This chocolate mousse pie tastes like you spent hours making it. It is however very easy and especially yummy. Here’s how you make it. Make Dr. Oetker’s Mousse according to package directions. Dr. Oetker’s products are found in the pudding section of most markets. This brand is also carried by Cost Plus Imports. I prefer to use the dark chocolate flavor but the milk chocolate will work also. Preparing the mousse with the cup of milk takes five minutes. Add the mousse to the pie shell and allow it to chill throughly (about 1 to 2 hours) so the pie will maintain its shape when sliced. Slice pie and place on individual serving plates. Top slices with whipped cream in a zig-zag motion. Sprinkle with shaved chocolate and serve.
