When we go to restaurants, we all love their bread sticks!Grisinni or breadstick can be a great snack or can accompany any stew or soup…Your choice!!!! They are great with beer too!!! Grisinni or breadsticks make a great snack that all the family will enjoy! Mix the flour, the white cornmeal, the baking powder, the sugar, the salt, the pepper and the herbs together. Afterwards add the butter, the milk and the whites slightly beaten. Make sure all are well incorporated. Knead the dough for 1-2 minutes. On a floured surface roll the dough out. Do not let it be too think, as your grissini will also pop up in the oven. Cut it in stripes using a pizza cutter. If you want to get breadsticks, you can shape them by hand using a bit of flour. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.Bake them in batches at 400F until they turn brown. I would recommend turning them after 10 minutes to get them crispy on both sides!
