How Do You Make The Bombay (Mumbai) Yellowfin Tuna Sandwich?
A quick and fulfilling breakfast or lunch – – grilled yellowfin tuna mixed with mango chutney or plain yogurt, curry paste then spread over whole wheat breads. In a mixing bowl, blend together well the tuna, mango chutney and curry paste. Divide and spoon the mixture between four bread pieces, spreading evenly over one side of each. Roast the pepper in 350 degrees F preheated oven, until skin is charred. Peel skin off pepper, then slice into bite size pieces. Add the roasted red pepper and cheese evenly over the tuna. Stack over the breads to enclose the tuna filling. Preheat a grill pan or nonstick skillet over medium heat, and spray with cooking oil. Place the sandwiches on grill or pan sear for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until toasted nicely and the cheese is melted. Serve with your choice of yogurt, sour cream, or sweet mango chutney For 2 persons. Note: very spicy.
