Here’s a great recipe that is totally simple for cream cheese frosting. Use it for carrot cake or pumpkin spice cake. Just add color if you would like to use it for Christmas cookies during the holidays too! Set one package of cream cheese and and one stick of butter out until they are softened to room temperature. If you are in a hurry, it is ok to microwave to soften but DON’T melt it. In a large mixing bowl, add the softened cream cheese, the softened butter, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1/2 of the powdered sugar With electric mixer, mix until well blended in the mixing bowl. Add the remaining powdered sugar and mix until well blended. Use a spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl to make sure all powered sugar is mixed in. Frost and you’re done!
