How Do You Make The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies?
Ever wondered about the cookie recipe on the back of a box of Blue Bonnet margarine? Well the recipe is delicious. They don’t even last long enough to cool completely. In a large bowl melt Blue Bonnet margarine. Set aside to cool (I find a couple minutes in the fridge is just fine) While margarine is cooling assemble all other ingredients. In a medium size bowl combine the flour and Baking soda, set aside Once the margarine is cool (not cold and solidified but not hot either, you don’t want to cook the egg when you add it) add the brown sugar and mix well. Then add the egg and the vanilla. After mixing well add in the flour/baking soda mixture (a bit at a time to ensure easy mixing). Then add the chocolate chips and stir to evenly distribute them throughout the dough. Drop a heaping tablespoon of cookie dough onto a cookie sheet for each cookie, leave about 2 inches between each cookie as they tend to spread during baking. Bake at 350* for 9-11 minutes or until edges harden and centers
