How Do You Make The Best Chicken Tortilla Soup?
MMM! Would you like to know how to make the best tortilla soup around? This soup will warm you right up, be filling, and provide you with leftovers too! It doesn’t require odd ingredients and it doesn’t take forever to cook. Even the kids will love it! Saute chopped onion, Rotel, and minced garlic in oil in large soup pot. Add cumin, salt, chili powder, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, steak sauce, chicken broth, beef broth, water, tomato juice, and chicken breasts. Bring to a boil and simmer (covered) for about an hour. Remove the chicken, shred, and return to soup pot. Next, cut tortillas into thin strips. Add as many as you like. This can be anywhere from 3 to 10 or more. I like my soup to be thick and hearty, so I add about 10-12. Then, add tortillas and drained corn to soup. Cook 5-10 more minutes and ladle into bowls. Sprinkle cheese on top and serve!
