How Do You Make Thai Yellow Beef Curry?
The mild yellow curry in this dish marries very well with the flavor of the coconut milk. This recipe serves six. Step 1 Scrape the thick part of the coconut milk off the top and from the lid of the can and into a wok. Heat the milk with the curry paste over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Step 2 Add the beef and the remaining coconut milk. Simmer, covered, until the beef is tender. Step 3 Add the onion, pepper and bamboo shoots and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onion is soft. Add the fish sauce, sugar and lime juice and stir well. Step 4 Cook for another 30 seconds and add the basil. Serve immediately over steamed sticky rice.
