Making text bold in Photoshop can be a hit or miss prospect. Sometimes you go to make text bold, and the font you chose won’t support the bold formatting. Luckily, there is a workaround that will hook you up with bold text. How to Make Text Bold in Adobe Photoshop Step 1 Double click on the thumbnail of the text layer from the layers palette, using the text tool (looks like a “T”). Step 2 Click on window/character palette from the top of your Photoshop screen. This will launch a little palette with typography buttons. Step 3 Click on the bold “T” near the bottom of the character palette. Step 4 Check to make sure your text is bold!
