How Do You Make Tex-Mex Queso?
This is a common staple of any Tex-Mex menu. Unfortunately, it is tough to find in restaurants outside of Texas. With this recipe, you can now bring Texas home. Cook ground turkey in a skillet on stove top until brown. When brown, remove skillet from the stove and proceed to drain grease into an empty bowl. Chop Velvetta into bite-sized cubes. Turn on stove to low-to-medium. Drizzle olive oil in the bottom of the pot. Add Velvetta cubes, Rotel, green chilies and turkey sausage into the pot. Stir constantly. Heat throughout until cheese is melted. Pour into a chip-and-dip dish and serve with warm tortillas or tortilla chips.
