Sugar flowers dress up your baked goods by providing a beautiful adornment atop the frosting. They can be extremely useful in hiding frosting flaws, too. With some patience and the right tools, you can add sugar flowers to any baked item. You needn’t use them right away if you need to transport them for later use. Make a fondant (see Resources). Fondant is a sugar syrup that becomes a thick frosting, ideal for icing and cake decorations. Roll out the fondant using your rolling pin.
