• Place in the freezer between each use. This will prevent any rusting. Remove when you want to use again. It will thaw very quickly when in contact with warm or hot water. • Fill a small jar halfway with water. • Add a good shake of baking soda. Shake well. • Keep the steel wool in the jar. Make sure that the water covers it completely. • Keep the lid on the jar to prevent evaporation of the water. Keep this jar handy to wherever the steel wool is used regularly. Squeeze well prior to each reuse. Change the water regularly to prevent it from going murky or slimy.
