Outline two pieces of stained glass with a grease pencil so that they measure one inch wide by nine inches long. Outline two additional glass pieces to measure one inch wide by five inches long. Score each of the four pieces along the outline with your glass cutter. Pistol grip cutters hold glass oil in the handles and provide the right amount of lubrication as you score the glass. Scoring means to press the tip of the cutter firmly against the glass and drag it in one direction along the line to be cut.
