Does the play you’re doing call for a large, cartoon-like cake? Follow these simple steps to make one you can use in productions for years to come! First, determine the size and number of layers the cake will have, and use the box cutter to cut out enough circles of each size to make them. If more than one thickness is required to make a layer, adhere the pieces together using contact adhesive, but don’t attach the layers to one another just yet, as it will make carving them difficult. Using scissors and the box cutter, shape each individual layer until you have achieved the look you desire. (This cake was supposed to look “melted” for a humorous effect.)
