How Do You Make Spooky Halloween Sounds?
This article tell you what things you’ll need to make your own spooky Halloween sounds. Use these sounds together to make a tape, or scare passing friends on Halloween night! Also makes a great science lesson for teachers or a fun party or rainy day activity! DRAGGING CHAINS: Grab your metal slinky and head to the top of a flight of stairs. If you are recording a tape, have one person head to the bottom of the stairs with the tape recorder. Have the person release the slinky at the top of the stairs. The slinky will pick up speed as it goes down the stairs, giving the effect that someone, or something is getting closer. HOWLING WOLVES: To mimic the sound of a pack of wolves, grab a group of friends or family members who can offer different pitches. An example would be a man with a deep voice, an older woman, and a young child. Have them mimic the low ‘ooooo’ sound of a wolf. Add an occasional howl or two.
