How Do You Make Spinach Stuffed Shells?
Spinach stuffed shells is a great way to get the kids to eat their veggies! Enjoy this simple recipe. INGREDIENTS: 24 jumbo pasta shells, cooked and drained 1 10-ounce package frozen chopped spinach; thawed and drained 2 cups ricotta cheese 2 cups mozzarella cheese 1 small onion, diced 2 Tablespoons chopped fresh parsley 1 teaspoon dried oregano 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 jar spaghetti sauce Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Spread a layer of spaghetti sauce over the bottom of the baking dish. Set aside. In a mixing bowl combine spinach, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, onion, 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, parsley and oregano. Fill cooked shells. Place in prepared pan. Cover with spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese over top. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 35 to 40 minutes, or until bubbly. Serve with additional sauce and parmesan cheese.
