How Do You Make Southern Potato Salad?
It’s a beautiful Sunday afternoon. The sun is shining and there is a slight breeze in the air. I suddenly realize that it is the perfect day for a cook out, so I call my friends and tell them to get to my house because I’m going to be throwing some burgers and hotdogs on the grill in a few hours. I ponder what I should serve with the burgers and it hits me – I’ve got the perfect potato salad for a cook out! The recipe is listed below: Step 1 Peel and cube the potatoes. Boil for about 30 minutes or until soft. Drain and set aside. Step 2 Boil the eggs for about 20 minutes. You can’t have too many eggs! If I’m making a big batch of potato salad, then I usually use about a dozen eggs. When the eggs are finished run them under cold water till they have cooled. Peel and roughly chop them. Add to potatoes. Step 3 Roughly chop baby dill pickles to taste. Add them to the potatoes and eggs. I recommend using an entire jar of baby dills. If you are not a fan of dill pickles, use sweet pickles. I
