How Do You Make Sour Cream Chocolate Icing?

Sour cream frosting is a perfect compliment on cakes. It gives it just a small amount of zest, making frosting tastier than ever. Measure out the frosting ingredients. You’ll need: * 1 package of semi-sweet chocolate morsels, 6-ounces * 1/4 cup of margarine or butter * 1/2 cup of sour cream * 1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring * 1/4 teaspoon of salt * 2 1/2 cups of powdered sugar, bit extra for added thickness Melt the chocolate morsels and the margarine on the stove, over low heat, in a medium sized saucepan. Remove from heat and proceed to mix in the sour cream, vanilla flavoring and the salt. Mix until well blended. Slowly add in the powdered sugar while beating it with an electric mixer. Continue to mix while adding it in at a slow rate. Add in the 2 1/2 cups, then add in a bit more if need. The frosting needs to be a good spreading consistency.
