This is a quick way to get someone to throw up if there is an emergency such as someone swallows something that could poison them or even pills that could make them overdose. It should take less than ten minutes to come into affect, possibly sooner. Step 1 Boil a hot cup of coffee and mix a tablespoon of baking soda into it and nothing else. It will start to bubble. Step 2 Have the person drink the entire cup (they may need to hold their nose in order bear the bitter taste).
