Throughout my chainmaille-weaving years I have wanted to learn how to weave can tabs into chainmaille, and I have been unable to find a worthwhile tutorial for this ANYWHERE else on the internet. So I finally sat down and figured it out on my own. This method is a fairly simple weave using can tabs and small rings. For those of you familiar with chainmaille, it’s very much like a Dragonscale weave. So the finished product is a flat weave, not a chain. First you will want to make your wire into rings. I actually used small paper clips for want of proper wire, but a simple spool of wire is much better and can be found at any hobby store in the beading section. Take your wire and wrap it tightly around a dowel/pen/small cylindrical object. You want the cylinder to be roughly 3/8″ in diameter. You’ll end up with a coil looking somewhat like the one in the picture. Using your wire clippers, carefully cut this coil into individual rings. I realize this is a laborious process, but unless you
