How Do You Make Snow Flake Ornaments?
Spread some holiday cheer by making Christmas Snow Flake ornaments with your family or your Scouts! This activity is easy to do for most ages. Cover your work surface with a sheet of wax paper. Make a puddle of glue in one corner – about the size of a quarter will do. Cut the string into pieces. You’ll need four longer strings, about three to four inches each, plus eight short strings about 1 inch each. You’ll also need a two inch string for the circle. Sizes do NOT need to be exact. If you want a larger or smaller snow flake ornament, adjust your sizes as needed. Dip each string into the glue and squeeze the extra glue off with your fingers. Get the strings thoroughly wet. Lay the four longest strings on the wax paper in a starburst pattern to start the snow flake. Cross the end of each string with a smaller string. Bend into a half circle. Make a circle of the two inch string for the center. Sprinkle the snow flake ornament with glitter. Dot the tips with red glitter glue. You can us
