How do you make “snow” by usinghousehold laundry detergent?
The laundry product way of making snow by whipping it with water is hard to do nowadays because it used true soap (like Ivory flakes), not detergent. And Ivory is no longer made. You can try doing the same thing with scrapings off of a bar of Ivory soap, but it will be messy. I like the suggestion in the other thread about cotton balls, or they could even use toilet paper or tissues (wad into a ball, possibly over a scrunched up aluminum foil shape, then glue two or three of the balls together… let dry overnight… paint on features and buttons, or use spices like peppercorns, etc…. could glue on some twigs from outdoors for arms, or add a bit of fabric around the neck for a scarf… if you want to get fancy and have some white glitter, they could paint the snowman body with white glue or thinned white glue, then sprinkle on the glitter). You didn’t mention the size though… that might mean you’d have to find larger balls of something to start with. Good luck, Diane B.
