How Do You Make Snickerdoodles (Cinnamon Cookies)?
Well, the holidays are just around the corner, and you’ll probably have friends or family over to celebrate. If you’re in need of a snack recipe to occupy all those gluttonous guests, look no further! I will be submitting several simple cookie recipes to help you all prepare for the holiday fervor. (The one here is for cinnamon cookies, commonly known as snickerdoodles.) Happy holidays, everyone! Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Cream the sugar, shortening, and butter. Then add in the eggs, and mix the ingredients until they are well-blended. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Add these dry ingredients to the sugar mixture and mix well. Put the cinnamon sugar on a small plate and shape dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into balls.
