How Do You Make Smoky Chipotle Hot Sauce Cheaply?

0

Have you ever wanted a killer, smoky, chipotle sauce without having to pay an arm and a leg at some specialty shop? If the answer is “yes”, you’re in luck! This is an extremely cheap, extremely easy way to make your own hot sauce/salsa calienté. Not only are the ingredients and methods easy, but the end product will leave you wondering just exactly why you passed those little cans up so many times! Go to your local store and buy two, 7 oz. cans of La Costeña Chipotle Peppers. Usually, you can get these at Wal Mart or Dollar General for between $1.25 and $1.50 apiece. Empty all of the ingredients of both cans into your blender. Use about a half-can of water (per can) afterwords to make sure you’ve gotten all of the ingredients “washed” out and into the blender. Blend it!!! Of course, you can tweak your sauce’s consistency with more or less water and how vigorously and long you blend it.
