How Do You Make Smoked Chicken And BBQ Nachos?
Here is a recipe for Smoked Chicken and BBQ nachos. First, you’ll need to smoke a breast of chicken on the grill, on a low flame. Grill the breast on the top rack, with a pan of water and wood chips underneath. (You can make a smoke pan out of tin foil, curled up around the edges.) As the chicken is cooking, dice up the red onion into 1/4″ chunks. When the chicken is done, “pull” the chicken. To pull the chicken, drag a fork along the grain of the meat, shredding off strands of chicken. Now, spread the chips out on a baking plate or dish. Sprinkle on the cheese, pulled chicken, jalapenos, black olives, and diced red onion. Toast in the oven on 375F until the cheese is browned on top. Drizzle BBQ sauce over the chips and Bon Appetite! (KC Masterpiece is a good choice!) Note: to drizzle sauce properly, use a squeeze bottle, such as the kind that is used for ketchup). A side of sour cream is a good compliment.
