How Do You Make Small Decorative Boxes?

0

Pretty little boxes filled with goodies add a festive touch to any dinner table; similarly, handing out favor boxes to guests as they leave a party is a touching gesture. Creating the basic box is simple, and the fun comes in when you add decorative touches reflecting a seasonal or holiday theme. Colored ribbons, plastic hearts, netting, toy animals, tiny silk flowers and/or fall leaves, miniature dice, felt snowmen and dozens of other items can be used to decorate these little boxes. This particular pattern makes a rectangular shaped box; sources below provide other varieties. Drag the picture of the box pattern to your desktop, and then drag it into Photoshop. Adjust the size of your box pattern by “Zooming in or out” under the Photoshop View command in the toolbar. These rectangular boxes make up well in a 3- to 4-inch length. Print the pattern onto the card stock that you wish to make into your box. Good choices include bright neon colors, silver or gold, or small patterns. Cut out
