Here are five simple steps to help make your very first flannel sleepwear! • Look for a sturdy and reliable worktable. Get some pattern paper and place it on the work area. Look for your favorite pajamas, pajama pants, bedhead pajamas, or men’s pajamas as possible samples. If you haven’t made any sleepwear before, settle for a pair of pajama pants. Make sure to turn them inside out before turning them lengthwise. Put the pajama pants on the pattern paper. Don’t forget to elongate the garterized waist! Trace the pants from the waist down the line of stitching, through the crotch area, down the inside ridge and finally through the hemline.
