How Do You Make Silly Putty In 10 Min?
Silly Putty is the brand name for a substance commonly played with by children. The putty can bounce, stretch and pick up ink from newsprint. It is usually sold in small amounts, packaged in a small plastic case. You can make your own putty at home in about 10 minutes for an instant new toy without leaving the house. Mix together 1/4 cup water with 1/4 cup glue in a small mixing bowl. Drop a few drops of food coloring into the mixture and stir until the color is uniform. (Color recipes are usually available on the food coloring box if you want to mix colors.) Add 1/4 cup borax powder to a separate bowl, and pour in 1 cup water. Mix together until the borax is dissolved. Measure 1/4 cup of the borax and water mixture and add it to the bowl of glue and water. Stir until the substance begins to thicken. Pour your newly made putty out of the bowl.
