How Do You Make Silk Flower Corsages?
Corsages are popular accessories for proms, homecoming dances, weddings and other formal events. With all the other costs involved in these events, a corsage is just another expense for something that will quickly die. Thus using silk flowers for a corsage is a great choice because it’s inexpensive to make, you can customize it anyway you want and you can reuse the corsage over and over again. Choose a silk flower or two as your central or main flower(s). Place some silk baby’s breath or leaves around the flower(s) to create a complete design. Make sure it’s not too large that it will stand out and look strange or so small that it is pointless. Wrap floral tape around the stems directly under the buds and calayx. Wrap it approximately 1 1/2 inches down. Cut off the stems below this. You may need to use wire cutters depending on the silk flowers you have chosen. Be sure all the stems are cut at the same length. Choose a ribbon that coordinates with the color of your flower selection. Cu
