President’s Day is a great time to get students interested in the history of their American presidents. Teachers should choose a few presidents to research with their students. The class can discover interesting facts about each president. When the class is done, you can all make some “Shrinky Dink” reminders of what was learned. It isn’t as hard as it sounds to create a “Shrinky Dink” President of the United States, and you only need a few items to get started. Get some “Shrinky Dink” sheets from your local craft store or purchase some online in advance. You can get them inexpensively from the original maker.
