How Do You Make Sesame Seed Breadsticks?
Many people serve their Asian dishes with rice. But for an alternate carbohydrate, consider serving sesame breadsticks on the side. Here’s a quick and easy recipe to make Sesame Seed Breadsticks in minutes. Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. Cover your baking sheet with tin foil. Then spray your non-stick spray over the foil. Pop the can of breadsticks. Unroll them onto the baking sheet and separate them from each other. Leave ample space between each breadstick; they will enlarge while baking. Microwave your butter in a coffee mug or small bowl for about 45 seconds or until melted. Place a paper towel over the bowl to avoid splattering. Spread melted butter over each breadstick using your pastry brush. Sprinkle your sesame seeds liberally over the uncooked breadsticks. Don’t worry about perfection here. Most of the seeds will stick because the butter will act as an adhesive. Bake your breadsticks for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove them from the oven and serve hot.
