How Do You Make Seashell Christmas Ornaments?
Seashells are like snowflakes. Each is different, and they can make beautiful one-of-a-kind ornaments. Buy seashells from craft stores or pick up some from the beach. They come in a variety of colors: mostly tans, whites and browns, but some have a hint of purple and blue. With some ribbon, glue and a little patience, you can transform seashells into hanging ornaments for your tree or as gifts. Wash out a scallop shell with lukewarm water and dish soap. Let it dry. Drill a small hole in the top of the shell. Cut about 4 inches of ribbon and thread it through the shell. Tie the ends together in a double knot to make a loop. Mix a small amount of white glue and glitter together. Mix with a small paintbrush. Paint the glitter glue over both sides of the shell and hang by the loop to dry.
