How Do You Make Scented Fire Starters?

0

Scented fire starters make a great gift for your friend or family member who loves to have the fireplace going. These would also make a cute addition to a craft fair. Step 1 Break up the wax or crayons and place them in the top of your double boiler. Fill the bottom of the double boiler with several inches of water and place the top pan back on. Melt the wax. Step 2 Place the cupcake liners inside the muffin tins. Fill each liner about two-thirds full with sawdust. Step 3 Pour one or two drops of essential oil onto each muffin liner, directly into the sawdust. Step 4 Spoon the melted wax onto the sawdust in each muffin liner. Cover the sawdust completely with the wax. Step 5 Allow wax to cool and harden completely. Remove from muffin tins. Place one or two fire starters into your fireplace kindling and enjoy the wonderful aroma!
