How Do You Make Sausage Spinach Pinwheels?
I would like to introduce to you my sausage spinach pinwheels. I’m sure you will enjoy. It will be a very tasty addition to your collection of recipes. Pinwheels. In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium heat; add onion. Cook 5 minutes. Stir in Tabasco sauce, salt, and mace. Cook 2 minutes. Combine sausage mixture, spinach, and cheese; mix well. Pinwheels. Thaw pastry sheets for 20 minutes at room temperature. Gently unfold. Roll out each sheet on a floured surface to a rectangle ( 18 x 8 inches ). Spread half the mixture over each rectangle, leaving a 1 inch border on the long side. Roll up, jelly roll fashion, rolling toward the border edge. Pinwheels. Brush border with beaten egg and press to seal tightly. Make cuts along top of each roll at one inch intervals. Place rolls on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
