How Do You Make Sausage Con Queso Dip?

Do you have company coming over to watch the big football game? Here is one of my favorite dips for game day that is better than store bought because it is homemade. You can serve your guest this dip at a party or cook-out. It is great for dipping tortilla chips or it can be used as a topping on hot dogs or tacos. Crumble and cook hot roll sausage or original brats grilling sausages over medium heat until browned. Drain on a paper towel and return sausage to a saucepan. Cut cheese cubes (Velveeta cheese is my choice) and add to sausage. Cook stirring often so the cheese melts without burning. Stir in a can of tomatoes with green chiles and mix well. Remove from heat and serve in a bowl next to a bag or bowl of tortilla chips. It takes about 10 minutes to prepare and 5 minutes to cook. About 32 servings.
