Your kids will have a blast decorating these fun and easy ornaments. Great for Christmas ornaments…just use Christmas cookie cutters! Preheat your oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl, add flour, salt, and hot water. Mix very well with your hands until thoroughly combined. You may at this point divide small portions of dough to a separate bowl to color with the food coloring if desired. Roll out dough onto flat surface. It doesn’t really stick, so you shouldn’t need any flour. Use cookie cutters to cut shapes out of the dough, and place them on a nonstick cookie sheet. Use the toothpick to create holes at the tops of the ornaments to put ribbon or wire hangers through. Bake ornaments for about 25-30 minutes or until hard. Remove from oven and let cool. Paint the ornaments anyway you like. We made some Christmas trees from our green dough and painted red and yellow dots on them…really easy. We also made candy canes from the plain dough and painted red stripes on them. Once the paint
