Salmon crab sauce can be used to top grilled salmon or other seafood dishes. It can also be spooned over steak for a surf and turf flavor. Real crab or artificial crab meat can be used, yet using real crab will provide a more delicate flavor. When preparing the salmon remove the skin and any gray matter. Failing to scrap off any gray matter from the salmon will give the sauce a more fishy flavor. The following recipe will make approximately 2 cups of salmon crab sauce. Cut salmon into pieces about the size of grapes. Saute the salmon pieces in 3 tablespoons of melted butter, using a small skillet on the stove. Drain the liquid off the salmon, and reserve in a separate dish. Set the skillet of salmon aside for a moment. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in another pan and stir in the flour, making a paste.
