Neighbors knocking on your door in the morning? Kids just can’t wait to get into the kitchen? Yes, It’s the jam. There’s nothing better than homemade, fresh jam on your toast in the morning. So sit the kids at the table and let the neighbors come in. Clean and peel rhubarb, removing leaves. Remove “strings” while peeling. Cut into 1 inch pieces and place in large saucepan. Cover rhubarb with sugar. Mix until rhubarb is coated. Cover pan and let stand overnight. The next day, boil mixture slowly until rhubarb is tender. While still hot, stir in gelatin. Mix well. Remove from heat. Allow jam to start to jell. Place into container and cover. Refrigerate and enjoy!
