How Do You Make Rhinestone Hair Combs?
Dressing up a plastic hair comb for a special event does not have to be a difficult task. Add rhinestones to a hair comb as a way to add pizazz to an ordinary comb. Make a rhinestone hair comb to match an outfit or make it with clear rhinestones to create a more versatile rhinestone hair comb. Pick the colors of your rhinestones. Choose multiple colors or just one color for your hair comb, whichever you desire. Choose a design for the comb. Place the rhinestones in rows of three up and down or in diagonal rows of three if you are doing multiple colors. Place the comb on a towel before you begin. The towel protects the table or work area from droplets of glue. Use an old towel for this project. Glue the first rhinestone at the bottom of the large plastic piece across the top of the comb. This rhinestone needs to be on the side edge of the comb. Place glue on the back of the second rhinestone and put it onto the comb.
