How Do You Make Red Clover Infusion?
Making a red clover infusion takes little time and effort and results in a strong medicine used for a variety of ailments in traditional herbalism. This method makes approximately 1 pint of red clover infusion, which can be taken all at once, or in equal portions throughout the day. Dried red clover flowers must be used, as fresh flowers do not infuse well. Step 1 Add 1 oz. of dried red clover flowers to a pint-sized glass jar. Pour boiling water over the dried herbs to fill the jar completely. Step 2 Place the lid on the pint jar and allow the red clover infusion to sit for at least 20 minutes, covered. The mixture may be allowed to infuse for up to 4 hours, if necessary or desired. Step 3 Strain the liquid into a mug or other container using a fine mesh strainer. Discard the used red clover flowers. Step 4 Add a few teaspoons of honey to the red clover infusion, if desired, and stir to combine. Drink when it has cooled to at least room temperature. However, it may be taken hot if use
