• Find a mixing bowl and a wooden spoon to mix later on. • Measure out the butter or margarine. Mix until it has become soft and creamy. • Add sugar to the butter/margarine and mix until there is no sugar left on the side of the bowl. • Measure out the flour and sieve into the sugary mixture. At this point, if you would like to make the cookies chocolate, remove a tablespoon full of flour and replace it with cocoa powder. After sieving, mix well. • If wanted, add chocolate drops or finely cut up fruit to the mixture. • Using your hands, make small balls of the mixture.
