Nothing is worse than a half chewed rawhide bone, covered in slobber laying around your house collecting dust. Rawhide has been a favorite of dogs for centuries. It is great for keeping dogs teeth clean and strengthening their jaw muscles. However, from my experience dogs lose interest about half way through, and what’s left is a wet mess for you to clean up. In this article you will learn how to make your dog more interested in his/her rawhide! This could save you some money. Show the Rawhide to your dog. This will hopefully get them excited about it. Praise them so they feel like it is a treat. Using a butter knife, spread a small amount of peanut butter into all the crevices of the bone. With the damp paper towel, wipe off any excess peanut butter on the outside of the bone. The peanut butter should be on the inside. Now you can give it to your dog, they will spend hours trying to get all that peanut butter out.
