Mini skateboards are popular with children and teens. Using cardboard you have around your house, you can make simple ramps or a system with a series of ramps for mini skateboards. Jazz your ramps up with a coat of acrylic paint and stickers. These nearly free cardboard ramps can make for hours of enjoyment. Take an empty, lightweight cardboard box, such as a cereal box, and fold it into a triangular shape. The bottom fold should be 3 to 4 inches wide. The two side panels can measure 18 inches or longer. Seal the triangular foundation with packing tape. Place wide tape on one side of the cardboard with half of the width of the tape extending over the edge.
