How Do You Make Quick Healthy Snacks?
Learn to make an easy and healthy snack with Spelt bread. Spelt is one of the original seven grains mentioned in the Bible. Spelt contains special carbohydrates which are an important factor in blood clotting and stimulating the body’s immune system. It is also a superb fiber resource and has large amounts of B-complex vitamins. Total protein content is from 10 to 25% greater than the common varieties of commercial wheat. You will need Spelt bread slices, mashed ripe avocados and a sweetener such as Agave. Toast as many slices of Spelt Bread as you wish. Take warm bread slices and spread mashed avocado onto one side of all slices. On top of the avocado spread, add Agave to taste. If you prefer, use Maple Syrup which is also a tasty option. I like it better when I eat it as an open faced treat and not as a sandwich.
