How Do You Make Quick & Easy Valentines Boxes?
Families don’t often have the time or resources to make elaborate Valentine’s Day boxes anymore. What used to be a huge project done at home is now usually done at school. If it is done at home, families must fit it in between homework, sports practices and after-school programs. Making a quick and easy one in the classroom is a great way to preserve the fun but eliminate the stress. Cut out some hearts. Fold your construction paper in half. Make several angled, upside-down J’s along the fold and cut out the hearts. Use scraps to make smaller hearts. Prep the box, which will be made of a tissue box or the plates. When you are using a tissue box, remove all the plastic wrapping, the cardboard opening and the tissues. When you are using plastic plates, cut one in half and staple it to the other one, with the two concave sides facing each other. Make sure that you match up the bottom edges when stapling, and only staple around the bottom edges. Decorate the box or plates. Glue paper heart
