How Do You Make Quick Easy Chicken Salad?
I don’t know about you, but I don’t like a lot of “stuff” in my chicken salad! For me, the simpler, the better. Quick and easy to make is a plus, too! First, thoroughly rinse your chicken breast fillets. Then, place all 4 fillets in a pot of water and turn the heat up to med-high. Let it boil for about 45 minutes, then remove the chicken from the pot and place it on a plate. Let it cool down. Use about on half of an onion, and chop it up finely. Once your onion is chopped, your chicken should be cool enough to shred. You can shred it using your hands, kitchen shears, or a food processor. I recommend a food processor if you want really finely shredded chicken. If you like “chunks” of chicken, then do it with your hands or some kitchen shears. After the chicken and onion are shredded/chopped to your desired consistency, place them in a container (a large bowl, tupperware or regular) and mix them together well with your hands.
