How Do You Make Quick Easy 3D Glasses?
3D stereoscopic glasses trick your eyes into interpreting two slightly different images of the same object into one three-dimensional image. Because human eyes are spaced about 2 inches apart, the eyes do this naturally with three-dimensional objects. Stereoscopic images recreate this effect with two-dimensional flat images. Movies can be made from stereoscopic images, creating the illusion that characters and objects are protruding from the screen. Glasses use lenses of two different colors, usually red and blue, to filter the images and create the 3D effect. Create 3D glasses at home quickly and simply using poster board and colored cellophane. Cut out the shape of the glasses from poster board. Cut eye holes from the shape. Tape a piece of red cellophane over the left eye hole. Tape a piece of blue cellophane over the right eye hole.
