A can of salmon is a good pantry staple to have on hand at all times. It is convenient and easy to prepare. If you’re in a hurry to prepare a meal, all you need is a couple of vegetables paired with this quick and simple salmon recipe and you’ve got a delicious diner in a short amount of time. First, drain the can of salmon. Be sure to drain it well. Put salmon in medium size mixing bowl. Carefully, crush the bones with a fork until they blend in with the salmon. To the salmon add 1/2 cup of flour and egg. Mix well. Cover the bottom of a medium frying pan with oil. You will need 1/4 to 1/2 inch of oil in the pan. Shape salmon mixture into small to medium size patties. Fry patties over medium heat. Fry about five minutes on each side, until lightly browned. Drain patties on paper towel before serving.
