How Do You Make Programs On The TI-83 Plus Calculator?

0

The TI-83 Plus graphing calculator is designed not only to calculate simple mathematical formulas, but also to plot out graph points. You can program different functions into this calculator as well. This feature is extremely useful, as it allows you to input a formula you are having trouble remembering and save it to the memory of the calculator. Power on the calculator and press the program button (“PRGM”). This loads up a new menu on the TI-83. Navigate to “New” using the directional arrow buttons and highlight it. Press the “Enter” button to make the selection. Type a name for the new program. You can use either the mathematical equation you are inputting or something else to name it. Press the program button again. Select “I/O” followed by “Prompt.” Press “Enter,” and the programming screen loads. Type the formula you want to use later. Exit the formula, and the TI-83 Plus graphing calculator saves it to memory.
