How Do You Make Pretzel Jello Salad?
For one of the best desserts around, try your hand at some strawberry pretzel Jello salad. This unique combination of sweet and salty flavors will be a hit not only with your taste buds, but with anyone else who tries it. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix the crushed pretzels with the melted butter and sugar. Press into the bottom of the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for a metal pan, or 325 degrees for a glass pan, for 8 minutes. Take out and let cool completely. Beat the cup of sugar into the cream cheese. Fold the cool whip in. Take the whole mixture and spread over the pretzels. Set aside. Mix the Jello into the boiling water and mix until dissolved, add the frozen strawberries and stir gently. Set that mixture aside for 10 to 15 minutes. Pour over the Jello/cheese mixture. Chill until firm. Serve and enjoy.
