How Do You Make Powdered Homemade Laundry Detergent?

It is simple to make and very cheap compared to the store bought brands (about 1/2 the price!). It is safe for septic systems and best of all it’s great for people with sensitive skin. Those who are susceptible to reactions from heavy or perfumed detergents will love this homemade recipe! Pour the liquid castile soap into a large mixing bowl. Stir in the washing soda. Make sure the baking soda isn’t clumped. If so, then break it up back into a fine powder. Now stir it into the mix. Now comes the delicate part. SLOWLY stir in the vinegar. Do this in small portions at a time as the recipe will foam up when the vinegar reacts with the soda. Keep stirring!
